Panettone Tiramisu

Panettone Tiramisu

This dessert leans into everything panettone does best. Tender, buttery slices soak up espresso and turn almost custardy, then get tucked between layers of mascarpone cream that feels light but rich. Finished with dark chocolate shavings, it eats like holiday tiramisu, cozy, aromatic, and just a bit fancy.

Ingredients

Directions

In a large bowl, whip the heavy cream until soft peaks form. In a separate bowl, mix the mascarpone and sugar until smooth, then fold in the whipped cream until thick with soft, swirled peaks. Spread a thin layer of mascarpone cream in a medium serving dish, add a layer of panettone slices, and drizzle coffee evenly over the top. Spoon on a generous layer of mascarpone cream, spread it to the edges, and shave chocolate over the cream. Repeat the layers of panettone, coffee, mascarpone cream, and finishing chocolate on top. Cover and refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight, until the panettone softens and the cream sets. Serves 6-8.
