Ingredients
- 1 tbsp Cento Parsley
- 1 tbsp Cento Basil
- 1 tbsp Cento Oregano
- 1 Cento Bay Leaves
- 1/2 tsp Cento Extra Hot Calabrese Peperoncino
- 1 tbsp Old Bay Seasoning
- 2 tsp Cento Fine Sicilian Sea Salt
- 1/4 tsp Cento Ground Black Pepper
- 1/2 cup Cento Imported Extra Virgin Olive Oil
- 1 cup Yellow Onion, finely diced
- 3 tbsp Bellino Minced Garlic
- 16 oz Pasteurized Lump Crab Meat, divided
- 5 fillets Cento Flat Fillets of Anchovies, finely chopped
- 3 tbsp Cento Double Concentrated Tomato Paste Tube
- 1 bottle Cento Clam Juice (8 fl oz)
- 1 can Cento All Purpose Crushed Tomatoes (28 oz)
- 1 can Cento Tomato Puree (28 oz)
- 1 can Cento Tuna Fish in Olive Oil (5 oz)
Directions
Prepare a spice mixture by combining the first 8 ingredients and place in a bowl, set aside. In a stock pot over medium heat, sauté onion for 2 minutes, then add garlic and sauté an additional minute. Add 8 ounces crab meat, anchovies, and tomato paste, sautéing for 3 minutes. Deglaze with clam juice, then pour in tomatoes. Rinse tomato cans with ¼ cup of water and add to pot. Add spice mixture, then bring to a boil. Cover and simmer for 20-25 minutes, or until desired thickness is achieved. During last 5 minutes of cooking, add remaining crab meat and tuna. Serve over your favorite Anna Pasta. Serves 6-8.
