Crab Gravy

A slow-simmered, sea food lover's tomato sauce full of tuna, anchovies, clams and crabs. Pour over your favorite pasta or use as a base for our Crab Gravy Seafood Pizza.

Prepare a spice mixture by combining the first 8 ingredients and place in a bowl, set aside. In a stock pot over medium heat, sauté onion for 2 minutes, then add garlic and sauté an additional minute. Add 8 ounces crab meat, anchovies, and tomato paste, sautéing for 3 minutes. Deglaze with clam juice, then pour in tomatoes. Rinse tomato cans with ¼ cup of water and add to pot. Add spice mixture, then bring to a boil. Cover and simmer for 20-25 minutes, or until desired thickness is achieved. During last 5 minutes of cooking, add remaining crab meat and tuna. Serve over your favorite Anna Pasta. Serves 6-8.
