Baked Feta with Figs

Baked Feta with Figs

Warm, creamy feta bakes alongside sweet figs until soft and caramelized, then is finished with a drizzle of honey, crispy garlic panko, and toasted pistachios. Sweet, savory, and endlessly scoopable, this one's the fig-season appetizer you'll want on repeat all summer.

Ingredients

Directions

Preheat the oven to 400°F. Arrange feta in the center of a small baking dish, place thyme on top of the feta, and nestle figs around it cut-side up. Drizzle with olive oil and honey, and season with salt and pepper. Bake for 15u201320 minutes, until figs are soft and jammy. Meanwhile, heat olive oil in a small skillet over medium-low heat, add garlic paste, and cook for about 30 seconds until fragrant, then add in breadcrumbs, stirring frequently, until golden brown and crisp, about 3-5 minutes. Remove the feta and figs from the oven, sprinkle with the toasted breadcrumbs and pistachios, and finish with a generous drizzle of glaze. Serve warm with crusty bread or crostini for scooping. Serves 4-6.
