Ingredients
- 3 tbsp Cento Imported Extra Virgin Olive Oil
- 1 Yellow Onion, finely chopped
- 5 cloves Garlic, minced
- 1 1/2 cups Anna Orzo
- 3 cups Cento Chicken Stock
- 1 jar Cento Vodka Pasta Sauce (25.5 oz)
- 1 cup Frozen Peas
- Cento Fine Sicilian Sea Salt, to taste
- Cento Ground Black Pepper, to taste
- 1 cup Parmesan Cheese, grated
- Fresh Parsley, torn
Directions
In a large pan over medium heat, warm olive oil and cook onion until lightly golden. Add garlic, salt, and pepper, and cook for about one minute. Stir in orzo and toast until lightly golden, then add chicken stock and bring to a gentle simmer. Cook until orzo is tender, then stir in vodka sauce and simmer until creamy. Add peas and cook until heated through. Turn off the heat, stir in Parmesan, and finish with fresh basil. Serves 4.
