Cheesesteak Orzo

Cheesesteak Orzo

This one-pan cheesesteak orzo combines the rich, savory flavors of a classic Philly cheesesteak with the comforting texture of orzo pasta. Ground beef, sautéed onions, and melted provolone create a creamy, hearty dish, while a touch of Worcestershire and Italian seasoning enhances the depth of flavor.

Ingredients

Directions

Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add ground beef, breaking it up as it cooks, then season with salt, black pepper, and Italian seasoning. Drain away fat. Stir in garlic paste, onions, and Worcestershire sauce, cooking for another minute. Add orzo and beef broth, stirring to combine. Simmer uncovered, stirring occasionally, for about 10 minutes or until orzo is tender and the liquid is mostly absorbed. Lower the heat and stir in mozzarella, then top with provolone slices. Cover and let the cheese melt for 2 minutes. Garnish with parsley and serve warm. Serves 4.
