What is Espresso?

Originating in Milan Italy around 1900, espresso is a type of concentrated coffee. Espresso is made the same way as coffee except the grind is treated differently. When it comes to the grinding process, the beans are finer than coffee which allows it to be packed tighter giving it a different outcome during the brewing process. This gives you fewer calories and more caffeine perfect for keeping your diet on track and giving you a boost of energy for the day. Espresso is served in a demitasse cup where it is supposed to be sipped on rather than taken as a "shot".
