| Ferrara Black Bean Soup | ||

Prep Time: 10 minutes Cook Time: 30 minutes 1 tbsp Cento Extra Virgin Olive Oil 1/3 cup onion, chopped 1 Bellino Whole Garlic Clove, minced 2 - 15 ½ oz Ferrara Black Beans 1 cup water 1 chicken bouillon cube ½ cup cooked ham, diced 1 dash of Sherry, optional |

| Heat olive oil in 3 quart saucepan over medium heat. Sauté onion and garlic until slightly browned. Puree 1 can of beans with juice and add to sautéed onions and garlic; mix well. Add the remaining can of beans, water, bouillon and ham. Bring to a boil; reduce heat and simmer for 30 minutes. If too thick, add water to achieve desired consistency. If desired, add a dash of sherry before serving. Serves 8. |
