| Quick and Healty Marinara Sauce | ||
Prep. Time: 10 minutes In a medium saucepan, heat oil over medium heat. Add onion; sauté until onion is translucent. Add garlic; gently brown. Add tomatoes and season with salt, pepper and basil to taste; bring to boil. Reduce heat and simmer for approximately 20 minutes or until desired consistency is achieved. If thinner consistency is desired, gradually add small amounts of water. Prepare pasta according to instructions on package. Pour sauce over cooked pasta; toss until pasta is well covered. Top with cheese. Serves 6. |
