Keeping with tradition, Cento Fine Foods launched Accademia dei Cento Grandi Cuochi—The Academy of one Hundred Chefs. Our web-TV cooking show is your virtual entrée into the Cento Fine Foods research and development kitchen. Each show features a chef preparing a unique dish with products from our proprietary brands: Cento, Anna, Bellino, Ferrara, La Florentine, Little Gina's and Maurizio Pasta.

Lorraine Ranalli is a longtime Philadelphia media personality and self-described "cook next door." Over the years, she's managed to merge her passions—broadcasting and cooking—to publish "Gravy Wars: South Philly Foods, Feuds and Attytudes," and to launch her syndicated radio talk show Cucina Chatter, which is an entertaining virtual kitchen table conversation featuring guests and a family of regular characters. Lorraine has also been tapped to represent food and kitchen-related products on QVC.

Blue Monkey Catering
Chef Scott Clarke is the CEO and Executive Chef at Blue Monkey Catering, named for the blue monkeys in the classic film, Wizard of Oz because they invoked fear in him as a child. In the kitchen, Scott is fearless. He combines classical French training with Philadelphia regional influences to create a style of cooking he affectionately calls Philly/French Nuevo. From weddings and anniversaries to corporate events and private affairs, Scott has a dedicated clientele list that includes prominent names on the Philadelphia sports and entertainment scene.

Joe Castleforte is Chef Cento, aka Giuseppe, aka Cas. Legend has it he was born in the kitchen—the downstairs kitchen—and was put to work almost immediately.

Seriously, Joe was born and raised in Bensonhurst, the "Little Italy" of Brooklyn, New York. Joe is a descendant of a long line of chefs from Naples, Italy. His family has owned a series of restaurants in New York and New Jersey. Not long after his birth, at age seven, Joe really did begin working in the kitchen, starting out as a dish washer and advancing to chef. He learned from the best, his Nonna. MORE

Christina Pirello is the Emmy Award winning host of PBS’ Christina Cooks! In 1983, she was diagnosed with an acute form of leukemia. With little prospect of help from conventional therapies, she turned to a nutritional program using a whole foods approach and cured her cancer in less than two years. Christina is the best selling author of seven books including: I’m Mad as Hell and I’m not Going to Eat it Anymore!, Cooking the Whole Foods Way, Christina Cooks, and This Crazy Vegan Life. Christina also teaches culinary arts at Philadelphia’s Restaurant School at Walnut Hill College.
