All Purpose Sauce
- 1 can (19 oz.) Cento Cannellini
Beans or
1 can (17 oz.) peas - 1 lb. Anna Tubetti,
Ditalini, or Shells
- Cento Grated Romano Cheese
Follow directions for Cento All Purpose Sauce.
Cook Anna pasta of choice according to package directions. After cooking, drain
half the water from the pot before adding sauce to pasta. For
Pasta Fagioli: Add Cento Cannellini Beans to sauce during last 10 minutes of cooking.
Pour sauce with beans over partially drained pasta. For
Pasta Pisello: Add one can of peas (do not drain juice from peas) to sauce during
the last 10 minutes of cooking. Pour sauce with peas over partially drained pasta.
Sprinkle with Cento Grated Romano Cheese upon serving. Serve immediately. Serves
